/06/03/09/ Meta4 is back after a long, too long,
silence. We’re happy to present two
delightful new pieces for this update.
The first is a long prose poem entitled “Memories of Water” by
Louis Bourgeois. Bourgeois’s poem, in
a series of reminiscences around the poet’s experiences of water through
several years, weaves nature and memory into a compelling revelation. Our second new piece is the experimental
short story “M101
Limited” by Carlos Lopez. Lopez’s
story is disturbing and provoking by turns.
He pushes the boundaries of the short-story form by experimenting with
web writing as he explores identity in the Internet age. In the coming months, we will be
publishing an interesting novel excerpt that experiments with the potential
of web publishing as well as new poetry from some of our former
contributors. We hope to include other
exciting new work with the scheduled updates, and promise that this return
will be but the first of many new additions to the website. Read. Write. Submit. Tell your
